What do we do
Our team is building a system that will allow Volvo to feedback measurement data, e.g. images from onboard cameras, from Volvos fleet of customer vehicles.
It consists of an onboard part written in C/C++ running on a Yocto Linux and an offboard(Cloud) part written in Java and Python running in AWS cloud on Kubernetes and docker.

What will you do
You will work in a team that develop software components both in the vehicles’ ECUs and in the Cloud to enable advanced and experimental data collection. Our system supports AD software developers as well as onboard control logic and diagnostics developers. You will test your code continuously in HIL and in test vehicles providing quick feedback of your changes directly in the end product.

Who you are
You are a skilled Engineer with a minimum of 6 years of programming experience. You should also carry a valid European driver’s license B. You would carry a bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in engineering.

We hope that you are flexible, a team player, have excellent communication and documentation skills. You have a positive attitude and eager to learn, develop along with a agile mindset and have a genuine interest helping Volvo cars reach its goals in the data collection journey.

We work with the agile development method SAFe so an understanding or certification is meritorious.
