System engineer Stockholm

In this position you will be a part of the IT Business to Consumer unit. The unit runs initiatives for the IT- and digital products in Sweden, for example our commerce, self-service, identity, and branding solutions. Together with the Commercial and Marketing teams they develop new products - from start to finish.  Create services that bring value to the  customers and help them achieve thier business goals.

The team are responsible for login and authentication services for all  websites and apps including play apps regardless of brand. It is an important and crucial component to secure user access to the digital services. They are using a standard 3rd party identity server solution. It is a modern product and an important part of the future IT stack. 

The main task of this role is to take care of and maintain the authentication service daily. Examples of activities are: 

To your help there is a team of approx. 10 backend .NET developers and a whole team dedicated to DevOps.

Quality: To have the authentication services up and running is super important as it log in our customers, especially play services are extra time critical. You take pride in quality and like to do things with full control rather than in high speed. 

Communication: As many applications and teams are dependent on the service are frequent, fast, and detailed communication important. You are comfortable in the role as coordinator when system is not working as it should. 

You are a person who is proactive and able to source knowledge from other people and teams. You are never afraid to ask for help and you do not get stuck in activities for long before asking someone in your team for ideas. You are not afraid to work on hands-on tasks and making sure the job gets done, but never working alone. 

Besides the previous description it would be great if you had experience in, or interest to learn more about the following: 
Cloud: Our services are running on Azure, we utilize AKS, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps and many other Azure services so previous experience with other cloud provider or Azure would be great. 

Oauth standards: Any previous exposure to authentication, authorization, OpenID and OAuth is a plus. 

Monitoring tools: An important part of daily work is to make sure our systems are up and running, we use Kibana, Prometheus, Grafana and AppInsights.
