Onboarding and Asset Management team

Detectify is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, with strong focus on frontend, to join our Onboarding and Asset Management team.

The team is a cross competence team responsible for a smooth onboarding of a user, enabling them to stay on top of their top tech-stack and why and when they should take action on something without having in-depth knowledge about security.

Internally we are known as Grandma Sharks Gang, a happy and friendly autonomous cross-functional team. Together we handle everything from discovery to delivery in a highly collaborative environment where we are fans of data and hypothesis driven development, mob and pair programming, all to maximize learning from our users and each other.

What you'll get to do

You will play a significant part in taking our product area to the next level by forming data-driven innovative solutions to achieve a world class user experience. As a Senior engineer at Detectify you will have a big impact on the architecture within your domain as well as cross team.

As an engineer in our cross-functional domain team you will get to:

• Delivering new or improved onboarding and trial experiences that drives revenue growth for Detectify.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, researchers, and data analysts in a dynamic and empowered product-driven environment.
• Drive architecture together with your team within your domain and contribute to decisions across teams.
• Use the latest technologies to solve real problems for our customers at a massive scale.
• Explore modern software development methods.
• Participate in cross team efforts to improve our architecture or development environment.
• Think it, Build it, Ship it, Measure it, Own it, Tweak it

Technologies you will get your hands on:

• Technologies across the entire stack
• Event-based microservices architecture running on AWS
• Modern development tools: Golang, GraphQL, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, React, TypeScript

You will have the opportunity to take even more responsibilities over time, and take a leadership role within engineering as the team grows and expands.

Who you are

You have a background working with frontend in a cross functional team and have substantial experience driving the technical evolution. You love to work in a highly collaborative environment and enjoy learning together with your fellow team members. Pair programming or even mob programming is within your preferred toolbox. You are comfortable working in the entire stack but for this role we are focusing on frontend work. You have substantial experience in working in a microservice architecture. You have experiences in architectural paradigms such as Domain driven design, CQRS using methods like event storming.

You typically come from a background where you are used to working with SaaS products using microservices at scale in a cloud first environment, having experience in modern agile product development environments.
