At Tetra Pak Automation Solutions we create and deliver automation products and services that are used in Tetra Pak's products and solutions.

The System Infrastructure (SI) team is responsible for designing, implementing and integrating connectivity and other service technology enabling products that our customers use to optimize productivity, quality and efficiency.

As we are developing solutions for plant connectivity and services we and are also constantly working to evolve the system architecture of our solutions to optimize interoperability with legacy and third-party systems.

In our team, we have Industrial IT domain & system architecture knowledge as well as embedded HW/SW systems skills. We participate in the entire development process from pre-studies and requirement analysis, implementation and verification of functionality to integration and life-cycle management of the products.

In this role you will work with infrastructure and machine connectivity enabling service products in customer operational environment. Examples are production quality and remote services.

You will have the chance to work on a broad technical level with connected equipment and services together with the technical service community worldwide.

Main responsibilities

- Manage re-use and improvements of proven solutions and best practices in the industrial IT system area with focus on network technologies
- Support the roll-out team and our market companies
- Develop, design, implement, test and document new functions
- Life-cycle management of new and legacy hardware & software
- Create training packages within this area of expertise
- Advanced network discussions with customer security departments
- Drive IoT technologies focusing on machine performance and quality optimization

Qualifications

- Expertise in communication protocols for IoT & automation, TCP/IP-Ethernet, OPC connectivity and associated application protocols
- Industrial IT systems & embedded platforms
design, with focus on system and application availability and performance criteria
- Operating systems competence in Microsoft Windows & Linux/Open-source platforms
- Knowledge of various wireless technologies, including GSM/UMTS, Bluetooth, RFID, NFC, Wi-Fi and related standards
- Skills in cyber security standards around system, data and communications security (VPN)
- Experience in virtualization technologies

A university degree or equivalent relevant experience from industrial IT is required. Broad field experience of industrial technology in both new and legacy systems is desired.

As a person you have a collaborative mindset and enjoy contributing to a team but also have the ability to work independently when needed. You are also highly proficient in spoken and written English.
