In Vårgårda, just an hour away from the Swedish car mecca, Gothenburg, we have our state-of-the-art Research and Electronics Manufacturing facility. Here, together with our engineers, we develop the next generation in modern manufacturing of radar and camera systems

Our purpose-driven and curious teams are creating trust in mobility through human-centric innovation. We are today the largest pure-player in Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS). We design and manufacture products and solutions for active safety and occupant protection.

What you'll do?
As a Test Developer, you’ll be part of a team with members in both Linköping and Vårgårda, with a common task to design, introduce and optimize fully automated test processes in our high-volume production flows. Your main objective will be the industrialization of our Camera production with focus on the Optical test processes.

The team will work with test methods and equipment specifications, programming, design, verification, commissioning, documentation and continuous optimization. Your focus area will be SW-development in this team, but not limited to that.

At Veoneer we work in international environments with exciting challenges in technology, product development and production. Together with colleagues from our design office in Linköping, you will work to ensure our products producibility.

You already have a solid base and experience within SW test development for electronics, and basic knowledge in Optics and you’re looking for new thrilling projects that you can put your teeth into. You enjoy working independently, driving your own processes, but understand your role in the team and what you’re all trying to accomplish together. Although, also being able to communicate in Swedish is highly merited

We believe that with the aid of your skill of working under pressure and at the same time meticulous eye for detail can help us forward to reach the next step within automotive and electronic industrialization

Level (diploma) required:

- Secondary school diploma in Mechanical/Automation/Electronic
- Post-secondary education in Mechanical/Automation/Electronic is highly merited

Other required skills:

- Excellent SW-development skills and experience (C#, C++)
- Good technical experience about Mechanical/Automation/Electronic
- Experience working with Lead production - Basic knowledge in the Optics area (Optics, Optronics, Imaging Systems and Optical Measurement Technology)
