About Spotin

Spotin AB is a technology-oriented company that are pushing the boundaries of how, what and where online sales are going to be in the future.

Our main development office and headquarter is situated in Luleå, and marketing and sales are located in Stockholm. The coming year there will be new Spotin development offices opening up as we are scaling our organization to meet the customer demand. (All our offices are centrally located, close to public communication and services.)

We are now looking for skilled and passionate senior developers as well as talented and enthusiastic junior developers with eager to learn for the Spotin team. The Spotin team is an international team with colleagues from many different countries. Work-language is English or Swedish.

At Spotin we are working with well-known brands and content makers (both smaller companies and globally recognized) and have a range of services and applications that we provide to our customers. We’re continuously finding and developing new ideas and solutions that can impact the online market, content and user behavior on a global scale.

About the Position

As a Senior Frontend Developer at Spotin we want you to have more than 5 years of relevant experience that enable you to contribute to the development of the Spotin stack with a shorter introduction.

In the senior role you will have an responsibility for Spotin’s frontend stack, services and functionality. As a senior frontend developer you also have a supportive role to Spotin’s CTO. Together with the CTO you will have responsibility of further developing the architecture and Spotin’s proprietary frontend framework, code refactoring where needed, and feature development based on the strategic needs of the business.

With Spotin you will be a part of a successful and experienced team that thrive with taking responsibility of their own work. You will be able to control all aspects of your own work from issue management, functionality, architectural design and implementation.

With time we want you to take a leading role in the development of Spotin as our organization is expanding rapidly and will grow a lot the coming years both within Sweden and internationally.

A successful candidate may (if there is an interest in managerial role in the future) contribute to scaling and managing Spotin’s frontend team. But this is not a requirement. If you want to code, we are all for that.

Technical Qualifications:

- Frontend development

- Javascript, JQuery, JSON, HTML5, CSS3

- Using RESTful API:s

- Git

- Model View Controller (MVC) architecture

- Unix/Linux (development within MacOs, Windows or Linux possible)

Also meriting:

- SASS

- BEM

- Vue, React, Angular frameworks

- Nginx server

- PHP/MySQL

- Webb-security

- Node

- Build Tools (e.g. web pack)
