UX Design Lead

SKF and its Digital Product Design team is looking for a UX Lead with a passion and experience working with software development and who enjoys the challenges of designing enterprise solutions. You should have experience leading other Designers across a portfolio of applications with a strong focus on enabling alignment, user centricity and collaboration.

If you enjoy working helping connect the problem to the solution and get satisfaction of doing the hands-on-work alongside your fellow Designers, this role is for you!

You will join an established Design Team made up of another UX Lead, UX Designers, UI Designers, Researchers as well as Service Designers. We work with Customers, Users, Product Development and Product Management, and by using SAFe design, we deliver global solutions. Our team is part of SKF’s Digital Transformation Innovation organization, and we play a crucial part in developing the digital landscape.

Your day-to-day work will be to

• To drive the overall user experience and alignment of the software within your area of responsibility to meet user needs and business goals

• Collaborate and facilitate discussions across Product Design, Product Development, and Product Management to achieve alignment and consensus on decisions effecting the user experience

• To empower your fellow Designers with clarity, scope, and direction

• To be the voice of the design team and the user during strategic and planning discussions

• To push the importance of design, design thinking and a user centred approach to software development and product management within SKF

We expect you to have

• At least 5 years professional experience working as a Designer

• University degree within a design, creative or human behaviour related field

• Demonstrated abilities to drive discussions, workshops and have critical thinking to meet design goals

• Experience working within enterprise solutions within large to mid-sized organisations

• Proficient in English and Swedish
