Företagsplatsen is now looking to expand their team with a skilled software developer. You will work on every part of the application, whether it is implementing new features, improving performance or making sure the user interface is top-notch.

We understand that the people we work with are our greatest source of knowledge. Therefore we are looking for a software engineer who would love to be part of a great team, facing technical challenges and tackling complex problems. At the same time we believe it is important to put effort into developing your own skills to become a greater engineer in the long run.

Företagsplatsen’s solution is based on a backend written in C#, a document database (CouchDB), a REST interface and a client part written in JavaScript. Business metrics are computed from more than a billion bookkeeping transactions and served to 20.000+ companies. Företagsplatsen offers a fun and friendly workplace where you will have every chance to make a difference. You will touch production, impact revenue and help build the company every day. The office is located in nice modern premises in Gamla Stan, Stockholm.

Erfarenhet, utbildning och person

To succeed in this role you have to:

• Have passion and deep interest in software development
• Be able to articulate ideas, share and consider feedback
• Have experience from building web applications
• Be fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Have fun

Bonus points:

• Contributes to the community through open source projects, meetups, conferences, stackoverflow, etc.
• Knowledge in JavaScript and frameworks such as React.js and Backbone
