The twelve month talent program is a collaboration between Nexer Tech Talent and the departments Connected Experience and Software & Electronics Platform at Volvo Cars and during this time you will combine working at Volvo with an educational package within your field of technology, team building and guidance by mentors. The program will begin in September 2021 and after a successful participation you will be offered employment at Volvo Cars.

Connected Experience develops and delivers Infotainment, Connectivity and Cloud Platform to provide a world-class digital user experience. We also deliver the Complete Vehicle Diagnostics system and an end-to- end platform for diagnostic monitoring & vehicle data collection. Our vision and strategy are to maximize the attractiveness of owning and using a Volvo, make all cars connected and provide a continuously enhanced experience for both new and existing cars.

Your role and the team

You will join a highly skilled agile DevOps team where you will design, develop, test, deploy and maintain the Volvo On Call Cloud backend together with your team. Some other tasks you will work with;
• Support and/or build the automation necessary to build the continuous delivery machine.
• Engage with the rest of the team and actively pull tasks from the backlog
• Write testable code and unit tests
• Code review your colleagues
