Technical Applications Manager (ERP) for UniCarriers Europe
Are you a technical Applications Manager with extensive experience in ERP, focus on analyzing, designing and implementing solutions where integrations between ERP and third party applications is the norm? Job description
Unicarriers Europe division now more than ever, is aiming for someone talented and with the relevant experience in ERP complex changes and integrations to help us to manage a portfolio of solutions integrated seamlessly to provide full visibility across their life-cycle of our products. We are looking for not just an ERP manager but a leader. A charismatic individual that would be able to use his or her leadership skills and ERP experience to engage the relevant key stakeholders in the change journey needed to align the business process of all ERP and CRM installations across Europe.

Reporting to the Group IT Manager, you will lead a team of 5 ERP specialists and other project team members from the business in the delivery of critical projects which require end to end process and technical expertise based on best practices, business process, ERP and EDI expertise. Needless to say this, you will be a key-person within the European organization. The location for this role is in Göteborg, but during the first year, it is expected frequent travelling to UK, Spain and NL to engage with the relevant key business users and the members of the different applications teams.

Tasks & Responsibilities
• Execute the consolidation of the 3 x local Iscala large installations across Europe by leading the 5 Iscala local specialists
• Take over the lead of the CRM final consolidation and guide the CRM specialists
• Support and guide the Production Applications teams to integrate their packages with the final consolidated ERP
• Collaborate with the BI team in developing standard and validated reports. Work together to secure Data integration and fulfil the gaps found by the Group Data warehouse Project
• Collaborate with the Infrastructure team to provide continuity and contingency systems, as well as to communicate planned changes and outages to the business
• Support Group IT Manager with budgets and business cases to present to the Corporate Board
• Develops a constructive and professional relationship with all stakeholders
• Coordinate with other IT teams to analyze, design and implement solutions where integration between our ERP and third party applications is required
• Partners with the business to develop business case justification for applications projects as well as analyze proposed modifications to the application and ensure that solutions developed and implemented meet the business requirements.
• Develop the necessary integrations between the ERP and the rest of the applications such as Mobile Solutions, Syncron, Webshops, Etc..
• Communicate changes and updates to Key business users
• Ensures the team develops, documents and maintains best practices, project standards, procedures, application quality objectives and “lessons learned”, including metrics for assessing progress.
• Manages and actively participates in the performance appraisal for direct reports
• Supports the professional and career development of self and direct reports through continued professional training, mentoring and on the job development
• Monitor and maintain ERP solution functional documentation for changes made in the solution via related documentation tool sets
• Monitor and manage incident resolution, prioritizing work to meet the most critical business needs in coordination with the impacted business stakeholders

Preferred Experience & Education
• Masters degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
• Excellent verbal, analytical, organizational and written skills
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience from a senior role in a multinational environment

Skills
• A well rounded and technically strong Project Manager who has an in-depth understanding of operations and ERP systems.
• Wider experience on systems integration and business change management approaches are highly relevant
• Successful project leading experience in Applications upgrades, consolidations and deployments, especially in the ERP arena
• Good knowledge of SQL is expected as most of our applications are SQL base
• Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
• Cross cultural understanding and interpersonal skills
• Service orientated
• Self-motivated, ability to work independently but still as a member of a team.
• Experience working with virtual teams
• Excellent oral and written skills in Swedish and English
• Good knowledge in financials modules will be very desirable, but is not mandatory.
