Test Engineer

In our Gothenburg office, we are passionate about delivering with ever increasing levels of quality. As an Agile organization we are transforming from traditional software releases to continuous delivery. We are currently seeking a Test Engineer to team with us on this exciting journey.

You will be part of a system test team that handles the final verification and validation of software produced by 20+ teams.

The system test teams responsibilities include:

- Taking the lead with our Test Automation efforts
- Implementing and contributing to our test strategy, including the test automation framework
- Validating and verifying software quality on a system test level against business requirements
- Developing and sustaining integration tests for our main integration pipelines
- Developing and sustaining ?end to end? system level test cases, with a focus on cross component functionality
- Reporting metrics and communicating test results

As part of the System Test team, you will work closely together with the development architects as well as the feature teams to ensure testability, maintainability and scalability of our software.

We desire a candidate with the following experience:

Necessary
- Minimum Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience of both manual scripting and exploratory testing
- At least 5 years working as a hands-on technical engineer with good knowledge in test engineering
- A very good command of the English language

Desirable
- Good knowledge with shell scripting & Automation scripting
- Experience working with automation tools (Squish, HP UFT, Selenium Good knowledge of Unix and/or Linux)
- ISTQB Agile Tester certified
- Databases (Oracle preferred)
