Contextual segmentation developer

We're looking for a developer who can bring new ideas from multiple areas, particularly among information retrieval, security, machine learning and large-scale system design. An interest in natural language processing is a must. Knowledge of other languages than Swedish and English is important since we are aiming to cover many different language areas. As a contextual segment developer your work will mostly focus on developing contextual segments in multiple languages and develop our future methods for content classification - both by using existing methods and developing custom models. The segment development is a creative process that needs logic and a lot of attention to detail.

Other developer skills that would contribute to Adlede as a company is experience of web scraping, writing REST API endpoints, and database optimization.

Note: The role offers great flexibility in location and work from home flexibility although the development team is today located and based in the Umeå area - Sweden. We preferably see applicants with the possibility to work and be set in the region.

Minimum qualifications:

• Junior-level developer.
• Experience in languages such as Python, C/C++, Javascript, and SQL.
• Working proficiency in English. Ability to write in English fluently and idiomatically. Good knowledge of other languages.
• A documented logical mind with attention to detail.

Preferred qualifications:

• Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed.
• Experience in work/integration work with global advertising platforms.
• Experience in frontend frameworks.
• Basic knowledge of multiple languages.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve contextual segmentation.
• Responsible for quality in code through peer reviews within the development team.
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
• Take initiative and be responsible for technical solutions to data quality and workflow challenges.
