Infotainment Platform Software Developer

Our innovative infotainment system, powered by Android Automotive, is certainly one of the best and most user-friendly infotainment systems on the market. While we continue to develop our infotainment systems together with Google, we want to spread the joy to others as well. 

Volvo Cars is setting up a new partnership with technology company ECARX and establishing a new joint venture to develop and commercialize the base software platform of our Volvo Cars infotainment system. The platform will be made available to all brands within Volvo Cars Group and Geely Group, as well as to ECARX to commercialize.

If you want to develop Infotainment SW together with big players like Google, Volvo and Geely Group, but still keep the setup and feeling of a small startup company, you will feel right at home with us. We are soon located in our new office at Lindholmen.

What you’ll do

As an BSP Software Developer, you will work in a platform team to develop and integrate low-level software modules for upcoming Infotainment head units. You will bring up new hardware and create low-level software running on QNX to boot Android and Linux.

You will also work with integrating the latest Android releases.

You will collaborate with our external suppliers and partners to achieve the goals.

You and your skills

We believe you are a true developer who is motivated by challenging tasks, have a personal interest in technology and love to make the best software product out there. You enjoy learning from others, as well as, sharing your knowledge with your colleagues.

We are looking for someone fluent in C/C++ and Python development and debugging, with proven experience in low-level coding and bring-up experience. Experience in working Qualcomm SoC, AOSP and QNX is considered a plus.   

We are a company with employees of different gender and cultural backgrounds, so you must be fluent in English and can easily communicate with all types of stakeholders.
