System Developer Remote Tower System

Your role

Together with the development team, you will be part of the entire system development process in design and development of systems for remote-controlled air traffic control. The team in Gothenburg has focus on camera technology but works with all parts of the product, therefore you need a broad knowledge and ambition to learn and develop. The most important tasks

Your tasks are varied and includes all parts of system development; requirements, coding, testing, documentation, support, etc. at times in close collaboration with our customers.

We work agile through all steps and have the opportunity to verify the functions in test systems to ensure the quality of the work:

Your profile

You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree with a specialization in computer science, mathematics or physics or equivalent experience.

Expertise in C++, C# (.Net) development in a Windows environment is required, and it is an advantage with experience in a similar role. Other qualifications are Linux skills, Test automation with Python, Hardware programming in embedded systems, Image processing, Domain knowledge in air traffic management and Agile approach.

As a person, you are self-motivated, creative, and persistent and have a genuine interest in programming. You are passionate about learning new technology, gaining domain knowledge and are happy to share your knowledge.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

ATM Tower Systems RTS is a unit within Saab that develops world-leading air traffic control systems. The systems are used for support airport operations and manage air traffic in the most efficient and safe way, and is installed on a number of airports in the world.
