We are looking for an automation tester for our team in Gothenburg, Sweden, who will work with both development and maintenance of our factory production critical application in embedded software area.

Who are we?

We are the team building and maintaining embedded products and tools for Volvo factories all over the world. At EPTS we feel proud of connecting all the integral parts together in the truck, bus, construction equipment, or boat to make our customers successful, on the roads, at the construction site or at sea.

We have unique knowledge within the embedded software area and work thoroughly with the quality of our releases, to deliver the right software to our stakeholders and end users.

EPTS is comprised today by 6 teams, soon expanding to 8 teams, located in 3 different sites: Sweden, Poland and Brazil. Our stakeholders are all around the world, so we are a truly global delivery team. Who are you?

You have experience within automated testing and verification of IT solutions. You are interested in understanding why IT changes are implemented and likes to suggest and to work on improvements of ways of working. You have a very positive attitude and feels motivated by problem solving and interacting with others. You really enjoy being part of an IT delivery team, collaborating with a cross-functional group of people, but you have also the ability to work independently. You are an open-minded and honest team player who appreciates fun at work.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Desire to learn and get better everyday
• Deep knowledge in .NET / C#
• Knowledge in SQL, IBM MQ, REST API, DevOps
• Awareness of cyber security topics, focus on secure code
• Complete proficiency in English
• An understanding of user's frustration and business opportunities
