Microsoft Enterprise Services is seeking a consultant to join the Global Dynamics Domain team. In conjunction with MBS Dynamics the Enterprise Services organization recently launched the Global Dynamics Domain with the following Mission: Strengthen capabilities to win and deliver successful Microsoft Dynamics engagements to accelerate adoption and productive use in the Enterprise. The Global Dynamics Domain provides delivery support in the form of architectural assistance or project management for the top critical business solution implementations based on Dynamics AX in the enterprise. This is a unique opportunity for the right individual who possesses a functional ERP background, strong project and business solutions experience. The ERP Consultant applies advanced analysis skills and experience in the domain of ERP solutions to define appropriate customer solutions, to develop detailed solution architecture and estimates for customer implementations. The ideal candidate will have a track record of functional excellence with the proven ability to map customer business problems to end-to-end technology solutions. This person will have demonstrated the ability to engage in senior level technology discussions related to business agility, IT value, and ERP technologies. To be credible he or she must have current and deep experience with implementing large ERP solutions on the Microsoft Dynamics AX platforms, or other large scale ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle/PeopleSoft, Lawson, .). Understanding of competitive technology enables the consultant to properly assess feasibility of migrating customer solutions from, and/or integrating with existing customer systems hosted on Microsoft or non-Microsoft platforms. Advanced domain knowledge in one or more vertical industry is also an asset.

Utbildning/Erfarenhet
The successful candidate will have a degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or equivalent work experience. This role requires at least 10+ years relevant working experience including expertise in enterprise ERP implementations as well as application deployment and/or distributed system implementation, knowledge of Dynamics AX is an advantage but isn't a must. Qualifications include hands-on experience with multi-phase, global, enterprise-wide ERP implementation with focus on presales/business development as well as engagement delivery. Desirable technical experience includes hands-on expertise in several of the following Microsoft products or technologies: .NET, SQL Server, BizTalk, SharePoint, Office, Active Directory and application architecture. To live close to a major city/airport is an advantage because frequent travel (up to 70%) is an integral part of this job, as well as high levels of recognition and visibility.
