Cloud Operations and Data Analyst

Our key solutions with extracting, loading, transforming and visualizing data has now been moved to Azure, where we are able to leverage the potential of the Microsoft Azure stack for our customers. We orchestrate data on the cloud and on premise (Azure Datafactory / Service Bus). Make data accessible for AI and Machine Learning (Storage Account Containers, Mongo DB Atlas, SQL Server). Generate value and analytics with custom visuals (D3 C3) that aims to convey information in a simple way.

The solutions will now be further developed and optimized in data capture, data storage, data analysis, machine learning and user interfaces.
We are now looking for a key person for our office at Forus (Stavanger, Norway) who wants to develop further with us.

With us, you will be part of a team of skilled developers working according to agile methods. You will be central in a team with a strong focus on quality and innovation in delivery. You will have the opportunity to contribute in several parts of the development process, from idea to production with responsibility for ensuring continuous improvement of architecture, process and code.

Responsibilities
-Assess consultant/client needs to build bespoke data design services
-Maintain and build the building blocks for transforming enterprise data solutions
-Design maintain and build modern data pipelines, data streams, and Integrations
-Design, Build, Test and Deploy advanced ETL processes to move and transform enterprise data
-Support and collaborate on the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation and loading data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL, NoSQL, and Cloud "big data" technologies.

Skills:
Fluent in English with some norwegian exposure.
The ideal candidate is service oriented, and work well in team

Basic Qualifications
-Preferred Bachelors or Masters (Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Economics)
-Experience in a relevant professional role (2-5 years)
-Shows evidence of innovation and driving through ideas to delivery
-Shows evidence of continuous professional development
-Experience with working for/in the Norwegian Oil and Gas sector (Operators)
-Familiar/Exposed to Norwegian culture.
Preferred Qualifications
-Platform Certifications/Experience (.NET Framework, .NET CORE)
-Data Certifications/Experience (SQL Server, Mongo, Entity Framework)
-Cloud Certifications/Experience (Azure, AWS)
-Virtualization/Containerization Experience (Docker, Hyper-V)
