Software engineer

- Contribute to Swedbank’s shared UI library, which enables a coherent and consistent customer experience in the Internetbank and other web applications. The UI library consists of reusable pieces of frontend components that together builds up the Internetbank and other web applications
- In cooperation with the Design System team develop and improve the design system and frontend components to be suitable in different solutions throughout the Internetbank and other web applications
- Collaborate, support and guide product teams
- Work with CI/CD for a better frontend architecture
- Solve and deploy solutions of incidents and problems
- Continuously update documentation to give designers and developers an understanding of the UI library
- Ensure quality awareness and care when designing, developing, and maintaining software
- Design new tests, improve existent ones and execute tests to secure needed quality of the software
- Ensure high level of accessibility

What is needed in this role:
- Several years of experience working with modern web development/as a Frontend Developer
- Solid experience with particularly HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (Web Components), TypeScript, node.js, and possibly Angular or similar
- Knowledgeable about accessibility is considered as an advantage
- Experience with design systems, style guides or component libraries is preferred
- Interest in design and user experience
- Experience from WebDriver IO or other browser testing tools is a plus
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or similar, or a great reason for not having one…
- Experience with agile practice (test-driven development, scrum, CI/CD etc)
- Proficient in English
- Team player with an eager to share your knowledge and learn from your colleagues
- Good verbal and written communication skills
