Your role as a Tech Lead

As a Tech Lead at Benify, you will have the overall responsibility of leading the technical design and improvements of our product in close collaboration with your team, product owners, other tech leads and our chief architect. You’ll be influencing our technical platform and our product's future by coming with new ideas trying out new methods and way of working. Additionally, you will develop different features and solutions along with coaching your team members in the right direction.

As a Tech Lead, you will also:

• Participate in establishing a technical vision and lead the way in your team
• Translate requirements into technical design on a whiteboard and in code
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code – and help team members do the same by pair programming and reviewing their code
• Give input on new initiatives and features from a technical point of view

Solving problems and discussing technical solutions might be your favorite thing do to - and you do it in a way that makes complex problems sound easy. To succeed in this role, you also know that no one can know it all. You like sharing what you know and asking for help when you need to – no prestige needed here!

We also see that you have:

• Agile values and hands-on experience in agile software development
• A few years’ experience working with backend tech stack like Java, Spring and MySQL, as well as frontend stack, maybe using Angular and Typescript.
• Relevant educational background within Computer Science, Software Development or similar
