About the position

Our client is a global PKI and e-ID/IT security company, specialized in digital identity management solutions with headquarter in Stockholm. The company has 300 employees with offices in Europe, India, and the USA, as well as a global partner network and they provide cutting-edge technology to high demanding global clients. Here they do things together as a team and we expect you to be a team player. Due to the Covid- pandemic most of the work is still on remote, although the plan is to slowly return to their modern office sometime during the fall.

Your role

Your role as a Java Developer is all about architecting the cloud transition and contribute towards interesting feature development activities. Smart ID Certificate Manager is a flexible and scalable Certificate Authority (CA) software portfolio and it’s used for managing electronic identities for intelligent cars, airplanes, charging infrastructure, telecommunication devices, workforce devices and many other things. To grow with the market, the product constantly has to develop. More feature-rich, easy to deploy in the cloud or on-premises or delivered as a service. You will be working with Agile and shall be part of the day-to-day development activities. From time to time you will have direct contact with internal and external customers of the product. This can be for new feature development, cloud strategy discussions, PoCs, or PKI ceremonies. Examples of what we use are:

• Applications: Java, Gradle, REST, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Tools: GIT, Jira, Confluence, SonarQube, Azure Pipelines.

Your qualifications

As we mentioned above, we are looking for someone who is passionate about DevOps and gladly shares ideas, knowledge, and experiences with your teammates – as well as listens and learns from others. Continuous improvement, working closely together and discussion is the way to learn from each other. You enjoy working in an open team and you firmly believe that cooperation and teamwork is the way to succeed. We believe that you need to have several years of experience in developing applications in Java and experience with cloud technologies and continuous delivery. Experience in security is a great plus, but not necessary. Most important is the willingness and interest to learn.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in developing applications in Java
• Experience working with cloud technologies and continuous delivery
• Experience in agile software development practices (automated testing, mob/pair programming, CI/CD etc.)
• Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written

Meritorious

• Experience in security
• Communication skills in Swedish

Contract type and hours

Full time. Consulting assignment 6 months probationary employment, then recruitment to client. Start as soon as possible.
