Our client is a leading global provider of financial software. They build systems for financial trading, risk management and position control. Their systems enable banks, hedge funds and other financial institutions to make critical decisions with confidence, execute their orders and follow up their positions. Independent of what asset class being traded: whether it is stocks, commodities, rates or currencies; or whether it’s done through an exchange or over the counter, they’ve got it covered! But that’s just parts of it. They cover the whole process from sell-side to buy-side, front-to-back.

Position Responsibilities:

As a developer in this Workflow team you will be challenged with a wide range of tasks, ranging from understanding customer requirements, design, implementation, and writing tests. You will be part of a team that that takes full responsibility for its solution which includes both working on continuously improve it as well as innovate it. We believe that the best solutions are built if you can be proud of what you produce! By working close together with the Product Owner you will get a deep understanding of market needs. And in production rollouts you will get a chance to work directly with customers.

You will be offered the challenge to both learn the financial business in combination with creating advanced technical solutions using Scrum as the development process.

Position Requirements:

To be successful in this role we expect you to have the following knowledge:

• M Sc. In Computer Science, Engineering Physics or similar degree.
• A great interest in learning the financial markets
• 0-5 years of experience in system development
• Experience in an object oriented language. Knowledge in C++ is a plus.
• A great interest in developing sustainable solutions with focus on quality and performance.
• Good skills in English
