Let us describe the challenge we offer

This position will be a part of our Propulsion Software Team which is a part of our Propulsion Department. This is a team with a mission to deliver results which exceed the customers’ expectations, that consists of software engineers, calibration engineers and system designers. The area of responsibility spans from battery management software, inverter software and electric motor calibration, and onboard charger software together with the charging end to end user experience.

This position is based at our HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden.

What you’ll do

  • Designing, validating and develop software related to battery management systems in the vehicle but also support testing of the complete system in the vehicle
  • Build software and test the validate the BMS software in test rigs and in vehicles
  • Manage beta-testing and establish data-driven closed loop feedback of the performance, work with dashboards and metrics
  • Push us in creating value for thermal management functions, battery health and learn fast about cells and their behavior.

Essentially, you will be our expert in how to implement software that will maximize the attributes like range, charging performance and energy efficiency and at the same time always prioritize battery safety and availability of the system.


Who you are

Your experience in Electric Vehicle Battery Software would be invaluable to us both in concept work and when working with current designs for increased customer satisfaction. You are a fast learner, it is qualifying to have previous experience in battery management systems (Matlab Simulink) and embedded ECU programming. Education within electrical engineering or other similar university degree is mandatory for the job.

You have a strong will to create the future of electric vehicles – it’s probably fair to call you an EV nerd passionate about solving climate changes. You are enthusiastic, motivated, well-organized and driven. You’re not afraid to try new approaches and out of the box methods. You have a holistic view, including vision, business, and customers.
