We are now looking for a Product Owner to join our Video Operations team at our office in Stockholm.

What is Hive Video Operations?

The Video Operations product line empowers IT, stakeholders, within mature video streaming organizations by providing the visibility and tools needed to identify and correct problems before and during mission-critical events.

Some of the problems we are solving for our customers:

- How sure are you that your Video Event will work? (Silent Testing)
- Do you know when something goes wrong with the Video Event (Notification Center)
- What is the quality of the ongoing video stream? (Stream Health)
- Are you aware of the success of the company Video Events when you are not in front of your PC? (Mobile Executive)
- When something goes wrong in the network and causing a bad video experience: do you know what causes it and how to solve it? (Cloud Cover)

Working as a Product Owner

As a Product Owner, you will attend standup with the Video Operations development team. You will review and contribute to business requirements or other specifications written by product specialists also on the team. You will work closely with Hive's Video Operations Engineering team and along with the developers, you will be working with troubleshooting complex problems impacting our world-class partners & customers.

You will…

- Write Epics & User Stories for enhancing and improving Hive Streaming product offerings
- Manage product backlogs
- Identify User Stories for inclusion in a 2-week Sprint
- Identify issues for developers that need to be unblocked
- Get hands-on; support User Acceptance Testing of new features
- Troubleshoot and manage complex partner or customer-reported issues
- Contribute to product strategy and manage internal and external roadmaps
- Develop high-quality product documentation of Hive Streaming’s partner-focused processes & tools

Previous Experience

- You have a couple of years of experience managing Agile product development processes for video streaming applications, enterprise web applications and/or web services
- You earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field, or have equivalent work experience
- Proficient in Agile software development, including Epics, Sprints, Releases and writing actionable User Stories
- Understanding of web applications, including HTML5, JavaScript & webpack, Electron, etc.
- Understanding of industry-standard web development tools such as WebStorm, Charles, Fiddler, Firebug, etc.
- Understanding of RESTful web service development, usage & integration
- Knowledge of live video streaming, content delivery networks & service offerings, cloud services and architecture
- Understanding of cloud service architecture, SaaS products, or enterprise applications
