Fyndiq - Senior System Administrator

It's a challenging job and our dedicated team of System Administrators does it really well, in their quest to ensure that our bargain hungry consumers are able to reach their favourite webshop, 24 hours a day, every day of the week. And I can assure you that all of our visitors (1 600 000/month) really appreciate them for doing so.

Up-time, security, reliability, scalability, resilience...

I'm sure you've heard those words before. And by joining our team you will hear it over and over again, but still never get tired of it. After all, as a Sysadmin, your aim is to future-proof all of our systems as well as making it possible to launch in other countries and to reach the magic number of 100% uptime. Exciting, right?!

I know you, dear sysadmin...

You probably want to know about all technical stuff but I'm not going to try to explain them all in detail, we both know a recruiter doesn't know half of it to be honest. But what I do know is that you have been working in large environments that handles large amounts of data and traffic. And of course in Linux environment with for example, Nginx, Galera MySQL Cluster, FreeBSD with ZFS for snapshotting etc, Redis, Elasticsearch and Icinga/Nagios then this job will suit you like a glove. And to this you can add a structured way of working and a great teamwork.

So what about the rest... company and culture and such?

When joining Europe's most exciting and fast growing tech companies, you'll work with a team of 20 highly skilled technicians and developers from the home of the Fyndians in Stockholm and you'll be making a significant difference to our business.
