yDesign AB is a service company specialized in providing advanced solutions to networking and telecommunication systems customers. Our expertise includes Networking Architecture, ASIC Development, and System Software. Our company is located in central Stockholm, Sweden and manages all aspects of the design of complex integrated semiconductor devices and related software tools and applications. yDesign’s engineering team delivers architecture specifications, design, verification, and layout services for technology/IP development and post-silicon validation. Furthermore, we provide a complete software environment, including software development tools, control plane software components and data plane applications.

Tasks and responsibilities:

You will work as a member of the Tools development team and be responsible for design, implementation, integration and testing of software for our tools suit consisting of compiler, simulator, and debugger for our network processors. Development will be performed using C ++ on Windows or Linux platform. You work closely with other software teams as well as systems and ASIC development teams; together you work to design effective solutions. Furthermore, you and your team work to find process improvements to design new effective solutions. You work in project form with clear priorities and deadlines.

Education, Experience and Personal characteristics:

• Master of Science in Engineering
• Experience with Python and C ++ programming
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
• Knowledge in computer architecture and compiler technology is meriting
• Experience of Agile and Test Driven Development (TDD) is an advantage
