Small minds never helped small businesses

At #ZettlebyPaypal, everyone believes that it takes originality and an open mind to start a small business. That’s why, even if we take pride in how far we have come, we have no intention of sticking to known patterns or old truths.

To carry out our revolution and help business owners to thrive, we rely on dedicated Teams embracing the opportunity to openly discuss and challenge each other on the best way forward. In other words, we co-elaborate, co-own our successes as well as our setbacks, and make sure to learn and grow together.

A glimpse of what you would get here

Part of our Money Alliance, the Hardware Team has for core mission to take care of the low-level integration aspect for all the PoS hardware that Zettle provides, from card readers to receipt printers, or barcode scanners.

Broadly speaking, we work on delivering the foundation for other Teams to build upon. Therefore, one of our goals entails developing well engineered work while keeping UX in mind so that it can support other Teams with building a premium user experience on top of the solutions we offer. With that in mind, by joining us you will notably:

  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to gather requirements;
  • Play an active part in the design of systems and features;
  • Implement systems and features with a high level of quality and maintainability;
  • Take the E2E responsibility for implementation, from the lower-level up to any included user-level experience.

Lastly, becoming an Android Developer at Zettle will also enable you to bounce ideas and cooperate with other bright minds across the Android Chapter through code reviews and mob programming sessions.
