Role description
The software engineer applies the principles of software engineering to design, develop, maintain, test, and evaluate our software. As a person you are innovative, self-driven, have a strong technical focus combined with a customer-oriented attitude. You enjoy teamwork, contribute to a positive team spirit and you like taking responsibility for the results.
You will be part of a development team responsible for delivering global solutions to our factories around the world. The entire team is located in Skövde, Sweden, and work at least half of the time on site.
Qualifications
- Solid Experience within .NET C#, or highly skilled in similar languages
- A university degree in computer science or similar
- Experience from agile development, working in teams
- Ability to establish and maintain good relations with stakeholders
- Advantage if you have experience within; Automotive Industry, TFS/Azure DevOps, Mobility, Blazor or similar, Cloud development, Test Driven Development and UX/useability
- Fluent in English
- Valid work-permit for Sweden if not citizen, no relocation assistance from Volvo
Travel required: occasional
