Arbetsbeskrivning

In this position you will coordinate our IT infrastructure initiatives within DIAB and provide technological guidance within our organization. You will develop, establish, and maintain a network infrastructure for local and wide area of connectivity and remote access (for example VPN and Firewalls). You will participate in global vendor contract negotiations for all new computer equipment and software that are purchased for our group. Furthermore you will propose budget for projects; purchase and upgrade equipment/ programs and also supervise computer specialists, IT staff and preside over IT-related projects. You will ensure that security settings are consistently applied and maintained. You will work hands on with VMware, and administrate and organize a Storage solution globally; this involves responsibility for backup and redundancy. You will maintain and develop the global email server structure (Lotus Domino), and serve as a 2nd line help desk. You will also handle global Windows servers that keep global functions.

Utbildning

University degree within IT or equivalent working experience.

Erfarenhet

Minimum of 5 years experience in local IT work.
Speak and write fluent English
Proficient skills in relevant IT infrastructure and programs.
Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
WMware- Hands on
Lotus Domino - Hands on
Windows server- Hands on

We are looking for someone with hands on experience and possess a high level of drive to actively develop responsible area. You have a problem-solving and “can-do” attitude.
You are self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
You strive for continuous improvement and have a persistent personality with
service-minded approach and good communications skills.
Availability – Urgent problem might have to be solved on the fly, as we are global. Some travels will be required.
