Cepheid is a leading molecular diagnostics company that is dedicated to improving healthcare by developing, manufacturing, and marketing accurate yet easy-to-use molecular systems and tests. The role
As a Senior Front End Software Engineer you will design, develop and test Cepheid’s C360 connected platform. Cepheid C360 is a cloud-based software platform providing a web-based interface for administrative and analytics support for Cepheid’s GeneXpert product family. The work is done in cross-functional agile scrum teams together with Software Quality to develop and test cloud services for disease surveillance and systems administration in the diagnostics area. The front-end is written in Angular and the back-end in Java/Spring
You will work together with our architects and tech lead to drive the frontend development forward. You will have the power to make technical decisions in what frameworks and plugins we use.
Responsibilities
Your responsibility includes interacting with cross-functional stakeholders from SQA, Marketing, Service and support organizations, and project/program managers during the development and delivery of the product. As you will be one of the most senior frontend developers within the team, you will provide technical mentorship to the team members to solve complex problems and identify innovative solutions. In addition to your hands-on programming work, we also expect you to be responsible for UI development in the product and continue to make design and technical decisions regarding that.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in field
- 5+ years of related work experience
- Ability to be self-motivated, proactive, curious, accountable and flexible
Technical qualifications
- Typescript
- Angular
- NgRx and Redux
- Java, Spring
- REST, JSON
- Automated testing (e.g. Karma, Cucumber)
- Working experience in writing cross-browser compatible code.
Preferred qualifications include
- Knowledge in UI and UX design
- Working experience with Git, Linux (command line)
