At Westermo we develop software for our own hardware, a Linux based operating system named WeOS, where we integrate a variety of Open Source packages along with a large amount of software we develop from scratch.
Delivering reliable products with top quality is key for us at Westermo. At the same time, we need new products and features to reach our customers with short lead time. Therefor we invest a lot in test automation and tools to make automation as easy as possible. We think about automation in everything we do, and we are constantly trying out new techniques that can help us fulfill current and future demands.
Are you our new Software Test Developer?
You will work in an Agile, cross-functional team who works with software development of our Linux based operating system, WeOS. This includes everything from requirement analysis through design and coding to integration, quality assurance and trouble shooting. Your focus in the team will be on evaluation of test scope, development and maintenance of automatic tests, coordination of quality assurance tasks between teams and lots of exploring and trouble shooting. As you and your team work closely together and are jointly responsible for your deliverables, help and support is never far away!
If you like to explore new features, troubleshoot, find and resolve tricky issues, this is the role for you!
As we develop network technology based on embedded Linux we see that knowledge, and a genuine interest, in Network Technologies and experience from working in a Linux environment is key in this role.

So, who are we looking for?
- You have experience from working in a Linux environment
- Networking Technologies such as switching, routing and security
- A genuine interest in Software Testing methodologies and trouble shooting in general
- Programming skills, preferably in Python/Go and/or C
- Experience and/or an interest in Requirement Management
- Fluency in English, and at least beginner-level in Swedish
