Nasdaq Technology is looking for a Java developer interested in joining the Nasdaq Real Time Clearing product engineering team. Real Time Clearing helps clearinghouses meet the ever-increasing demands of the post-trade value chain with integrated position keeping, real-time risk and collateral management, as well as settlement, across markets. With this position we offer:

An exciting opportunity to work within a highly skilled and experienced product engineering team. You will belong to cross-functional scrum team consisting of business analysts, software engineers, and test engineers. As a software engineer your main focus is to develop new features and enablers for a product with high quality, performance and resiliency demands. We are looking for a software engineer who is passionate about technology and constantly looking for improved ways of working and enjoys sharing knowledge with others.

What you will be doing:

Design and develop new complex functionality and maintain the existing codebase

You will be involved in all stages of the product life cycle; business needs, design, implementation, quality assurance and deployment

Perform peer reviews, demos and regression testing

Contribute with your experience and input to sprint planning, retrospectives and demos

What you will bring to the team:

Passion for building great products for delivery to business and customers

Curiosity and a highly collaborative work style along with a desire to share knowledge

Experience in developing Java applications

Excellent working proficiency in English

A strong academic record with a degree in computer science, information technology or software engineering or equivalent

It would be great if you have:

A genuine interest to work in the FinTech industry and learn the domain, specifically clearing

Experience using ReactiveX, Swagger/OpenAPI, React/Redux, Gradle, BitBucket, Jenkins, Sonar, Confluence and Jira
