Technical Writer with a passion for UX to Toyota

Hi, you! 

We are looking for a Senior Technical Writer (TW) who wants to write software documentation for our amazing self-driving vehicles (AGVs).

Work description:

You'll be part of our content team where you'll partner up with Sofia; our Content team lead. Sofia is passionate about UX writing and UX research, which is part of the documentation strategy. 

Some of your tasks:

-Write technical documentation.

-Peer reviews, editing.

-Network with our dev teams and technical experts.

-Supportive role in user research, surveys, workshops, etc.

With the Content team:

 -Maintain the Content style guide.

 -Work on content and architectural improvements.

 -Create newsletters.

The awesome Content team:

Sofia (Content TL), Johan (TW), and Lena (TW).

Our team goals:

-Create user-driven documentation.

-Write structured and consistent documentation, without stifling creativity.

-Support the team and be open with each other.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s or masters degree within relevant field (technical, user experience or similar).

-At least 2 years experience in writing software documentation.

-Illustrator, Photoshop, or Inkscape experience. 
-Editing experience.

-Experience in writing in XML/HTML/Markdown editors.

-Excellent skills in the Microsoft Office package.

-Excellent English skills, both verbal and written. 

-Interested in technology and AGV's.

-Big interest in Content strategy.

-Knowledgeable about Information Architecture.

-Thrives when you get to network and drive projects.

-Strong team spirit.

-Strong user focus.

Valuable skills: 

-Enough Swedish to follow and take part in technical discussions.

-Google Analytics experience.

-Stays up to date with the latest trends in Content strategy and UX writing.

-Background in Behavioral science, UX, or similar.
