Senior Project Manager - Process Methodologist

The Service Management Office (SMO) is the staff function within Service Development & Operations (SD&O) and lead key in strategic initiatives to drive operational efficiency, simplification and globalisation of IT service delivery. SMO will have a key role in the future by leading the transformation of Service Development and Operations towards end-to-end IT services.
The function is also responsible for processes, project framework and maintenance model and support within these areas. The Program and Project Management Services (PPS) Team, is responsible for providing best in class processes, methods and tools for all of our IT Programs and Projects.
As a Senior Project Manager - Process Methodologist you will ensure appropriate use of Volvo Car Groups standardised project management methodology, process and tools. Another important task is the training and coaching in our processes and methods. You will also manage execute and deliver continuous improvement projects.
Main responsibilities
* Process development, documentation and Implementation; processes mainly for program and project management, with a lean and/or agile approach
* Development and implementation of relevant KPIs
* Management of IT and software development projects, through the application and integration of initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing.
* Ensure project deliverables meet stated expectations for scope, quality, cost, timing, and business objectives
* Set and manage customer expectations
* Identify risk, assesses impact, develop risk mitigation plans and execute mitigation plans
Required qualifications
* University degree, Master's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
* Project management training
* Project management certification (PMI, IPMA B or equivalent)
* Extensive (min 5 years) experience as a Project Manager involving all phases from Business Development to and throughout IT/SW development.
* Experience (min 3 years) from running Agile Projects, as a project manager or as a Scrum Master
* Excellent knowledge of Project Management in Process Development, software intensive projects, especially Outsourced and Agile Projects and Outsourced Projects
* Coaching and teaching experience
* Fluent in English (written and spoken)
* 6-sigma training or equivalent is meritorious
* Training or knowledge of project management tools is meritorious
