Job Description

We are looking for a Frontend Developer to join a cross-functional Product Team with the mission to develop products that empowers thousands of recruiters and hiring managers and engages millions of candidates. Together with the team, you have end-to-end responsibility for H&M Groups digital Talent Acquisition solutions, from product ideation to implementation and beyond.

The tech stack consist of; Global Talent Acquisition platform (ATS and CRM SaaS solution, REST API integrations), Career sites (React, Azure, WordPress, AI language translations) and Azure (DevOps, AppServices, Azure AD).


Responsibilities


As a Frontend Developer you will work as part of a product team with a Product Owner, Business Experts, Product Designer, and other Developers, with the responsibility for creating and designing solutions that fulfill our business needs and meet our customers' expectations. Furthermore, you will:

  • Have a holistic view of the technical solutions and their role in the greater H&M Group eco system
  • Provide options for how the solution could be evolved to provide even more value
  • Mentoring more junior engineers and be open to share knowledge (E.g., through pair programming, code reviews and join discussions on our internal tech community)
  • Communication with stakeholders (vendor, cross teams, end users)
  • Translate product strategy and requirements into suitable, maintainable, and scalable solutions designed according to existing architectural guard rails
  • Build the simplest possible solution that fulfils user needs as well as meets functional, quality and data compliance
  • Build beautiful, modern, and user-friendly frontend solutions
  • Drive testing and deployment of software solutions, ensuring automated testing to solution quality
  • Build and operate infrastructure, toolset, and deployment pipelines

This means that you would have a dual focus - staff responsibility and delivery. You would have staff responsibility for employees within the same/adjacent competence as your own, working in different product teams within the same product area. Your mission would be to support, coach and help your team members grow and develop.

Qualifications:


  • Extensive experience working with web and frontend development
  • Experience working with cloud-based delivery pipelines, continuous integration, continuous delivery, distributed version control, branching strategy and continuous code quality
  • Experience working with automation of test and test data, zero downtime deploy, release strategies, QA in production
  • Experience working with API’s and agile development methodology (i.e., DevOps)
  • Education in Engineering, another related field or equivalent practical experience
