To extend the service offer beyond expectations we send collected data to the cloud, where it is gathered, processed and analyzed – allowing for preventive actions to be taken before breakdown or safety risk occurs.

Exciting times are ahead indeed and this is where you come into the picture! Our IoT Platform Manager is currently looking for a Lead Cloud Architect - IoT at our Entrance Systems headquarters in Landskrona, Sweden.

What you would do as our Lead Cloud Architect - IoT

You will play a key role in the IoT dev team where you will be responsible for and take full ownership for driving the architectural roadmap, proposing and implementing architectural changes and developing IoT Cloud backend features.

The skills and experience you need

We believe you are experienced as a backend developer in general and working with Cloud platform architecture and AWS in particular. You have several years' experience of developing backend solutions for web applications and/or IoT systems. Your go-to languages are Java, Golang and JavaScript and you are used to work in a development team using agile methodologies.

We are looking for someone who has experience with at least 4 of the following:

• event driven architecture in Cloud platforms, preferably in AWS
• data ingestion, storage and analysis/analytics
• database programming and data storage (SQL, NoSQL, Datalake, Data warehouse, etc.)
• IoT solutions, including e.g. AWS IoT Core
• architectures powering machine learning applications
• working with tools for CI/CD such as Git, Jenkins
• developing services on Cloud platforms in general and AWS in particular
• serverless micro services architecture in Cloud environments
• building scalable systems

Preferably you have an MSc in computer science, engineering or similar university degree.

It is a great opportunity for someone who is able to communicate technical concepts, issues and solutions with team members and stakeholders such as project and product managers. This role requires that a strong ability to drive and implement changes in the system architecture, as well as having personal drive, and eagerness to learn more and get better.
