Who is your future team?

You will join a very skilled and technically strong team that values individual growth and teamwork. The teamcontains about 15 engineers with great diversity and good team spirit.

The team is responsible for design and development of secure device management platform and solutions. The team has rolled out several SW products that enable easy, cost-effective and secure management of Axis devices, which are used by a majority of Axis customers and partners worldwide, bringing great value to Axis offering.

We work in agile, independent and empowered functional teams, each functional team consisting of 4-5 developers.

We have a constant will to develop and to create tomorrow's solutions and we aspire to do that in close dialogue with our customers.

What you'll do here

* Design and develop new software components, APIs and functionalities to enhance our device management portfolio, on edge as well as on the cloud level.
* You will work with modern software development technologies such as cloud development platform (AWS and Azure), Golang as one of the programming languages, and micro services to build applications.
* Cyber security will be one important aspect in your design and development work.
* Use your creativity to build excitement around SW framework and features within areas such as distributed systems, device management, Internet of Things and connected devices.
* The role has the possibility, at times, to go to conferences and customer meetings where you watch technology trends, gather feedback and represent Axis.

Now we are looking for an engineer with a genuine interest in SW development and technology. You are curious, eager to learn new things and you dare to challenge yourself. You are creative and open-minded. As Axis values teamwork it is important that you contribute with good spirit and welcome the different agile working methodologies used in our teams. You are an energetic and dedicated person with a strong personal drive and an ability to work independently.

We'd love to hear that you have/are:

* A master's degree in computer science, physics, mathematics, electrical engineering or similar
* Interested in Cloud development and IoT
* Enjoying and are comfortable with DevOps and agile working methodologies
* Bonus points for experience with Database, Cyber Security and cloud SW development such as AWS or Azure platform.
