Function Developer – Software ElectronicHigh Vision Engineering is now expanding and is looking for a Function Developers for the Gothenburg area.
High Vision Engineering offers advanced consulting services within R&D for the Swedish automotive industry. We have a senior position within our area and are a well established first tier supplier to the automotive industry in Gotherburg. We are a mid size company where we treat each other with respect and thrive of the joy of develop next generation products. At High Vision Engineering we all share a big interest for technology and now we want to expand our team. You will be located at one of our customers within the automotive industry.
Your work assignments
The Function Developer’s goal is to develop and maintain electrical system solutions. You will be a part of a team who is working with early system development phases. You get a chance to influence the performance, driving characteristics and features of the vehicle as well as a direct link to the fuel economy. The group contains application/calibration engineers, code developers (function developers) and system engineers/designers. The system solutions include both internally produced code and functionality from other departments & suppliers. As Function Developer you interact with colleagues at the same group, as well as with colleagues working with, for example: HV electric motors, HV batteries, chassis systems and HMI systems, to create system solutions for the complete vehicle.
Main responsibilities
Working with the model-based development in Matlab/Simulink and/or Stateflow
Software development in Targetlink and C#
Process incoming requirements
Contribute with a broad perspective of technical details
Development of system specifications
Direct contact with necessary sub-systems for example: Powertrain/Chassis/Electrical Engineering
Participate in the creation and the development of the Function Implementation Plan

Required qualifications
M.Sc. within electronics, physics, mechatronics or similar
At least 2 years of experience from Software development within electronics
Experience from function development within at least one of the areas: Powertrain, Engine, Power Electronics or Hybrid-systems
Experience from HIL-systems D-Space/Vector and automated testing, creating scripts in Python/CANoe
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Driver license (B)
