STING's vision is to be the best incubator in the world by attracting the best innovators and entrepreneurs, and by contributing clear value to successfully build and develop the high-growth companies of the future. STING supports promising Stockholm-based startups, primarily within ICT, internet/media, cleantech and life science. We evaluate 150-200 projects annually, but based on a tough screening process we accept only 20 companies per year to our incubator and accelerator programs. Approximately 70 procent of the companies accepted come from industry, and 30 percent are conncted to universities and research institutes. STING started in 2002 and has provided business development supports to over 100 innovative startups.

Currently we are focusing on making our technology a standard for games and virtual reality applications. You will work with everything from leading implementations for new input hardware to developing a scalable product.

Skills & Requirements

?You are able to quickly grasp research-based ideas and concepts
?You have an engineering background, for example in software architecture or software development, robotics or motion control
?You have no problem to get your hands dirty on realizing these ideas in C/C++
?You are fluent in English (both orally and written form)

About the company

Gleechi is a Stockholm-based startup that has developed the first software solution to make it possible to animate hands that can move and interact freely and realistically in games and virtual reality. Animation of hands and fingers is often avoided in games and movies due to the high complexity of generating realistic hands. Additionally, there are no solutions to generate hand-object interaction in real-time, which causes big problems for Virtual Reality among much else. With our award winning software technology VirtualGrasp, we make it possible to generate hand motion and interaction in real time. The software enables the user to fully automate the complex process of animating hands and enables all different kinds of applications to use 100% realistic hands that can interact with objects in any way the user want.

Our vision is to provide high-tech software solutions that revolutionize the way people interact with computers, wherever natural hand motion generation is needed. Our team combines experiences in human computer interaction, machine learning, computer vision, and algorithm development from both academia and industry, but to fulfill our vision, we need more tech stars that share our vision!
