About the role:

As a developer working with our Trading Systems, you will join forces with testers and business analysts in a cross-functional team. Together, you will work closely with our customers to develop and tailor systems for exchanges worldwide. Using your expertise and programming skills, you will tackle complex problems and produce robust solutions that process huge amounts of data faultlessly in a low latency environment.

Partnering with other talented people from all over the world in agile projects, you will enjoy the freedom to make decisions, take responsibility and be part of a fantastic team that creates world-leading, business-critical financial systems. We are working with an interesting and complex product with very high quality requirements. You will join a highly qualified cross-functional scrum team consisting of Business Analysts, Software Developers, Test Engineers, and Project Managers.

What you will be doing:

Designing solutions and writing good quality code that solves difficult problems in a highly distributed system with extreme demands on resilience and quality.

Contribute to all stages of the product life cycle; design, implementation, testing, release, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance and enhancement.

Contribute with your experience and input to sprint planning, retrospectives and time estimation of features and change requests.

Enhance and maintain our reference data design and reference data infrastructure written in C.

What you will bring to the team:

Software development experience and a degree in computer science or similar field.

Curiosity and a highly collaborative work style, a desire to contribute what you already know, educate the people around you, and bravely dive into new territories.

Previous experience working with development tools and concepts such as Git and CI/CD.

Eagerness to drive the evolution of our products forward with ideas, designs, and implementations.

Passion for building great products and writing clean and beautiful code.

Experience with C.

Familiarity of relational databases such as PostgreSQL and Oracle.

Knowledge of financial instruments is a plus.
