About the Team

Conversion & Activation is mainly responsible for that short, but highly important part of our users’ journey between the signup and starting a subscription. Using techniques such as A/B and multivariate testing, we aim at finding that sweet spot between an amazing user experience and an optimized inflow of new curiosity-fueled readers/listeners, on both web and mobile apps. Along with this focus on Conversion Rate Optimization, our team also gives support to several tools used across the business that help on data-driven decision making.

About the Role

As an iOS developer in the Conversion & Activation Team, you will work with experienced colleagues in cross-functional teams across a wide field of technologies. We are an app-heavy team, we use Swift when developing new stuff but have some Objective-C legacy. It is not a requirement, but a great benefit if you have skills in addition to being a great iOS developer, for example, you are passionate about testing or you are also interested in Android or backend development.

About You

You are passionate about using modern technology to create great user experiences. You get goosebumps when your code helps our users connect with their passion for books, et better sleep, and get entertained on the go! You’re not afraid of new challenges, and not afraid to compete with the biggest companies in the tech industry.

To be successful in this role we believe that you have;

📲At least 2 years of prior experience in Swift and Objective C

⭐️You love writing high quality, readable and maintainable code

🧠You have a good understanding of Cocoa design patterns and iOS development fundamental

👩‍💻You have experience with UIKit, AutoLayout and Foundation

⌨️You are comfortable interacting with REST APIs

📙You have experience with Git or other version control systems

🇬🇧Business level of English, in written and spoken form as Storytel is an international company with English as our official language internally.
