UI Artist

We have just started building our dream game and are looking for a UI Artist. We have a genuine ambition to make something that is more than a game. In the GOALS universe games exist both on and off screen, blending football, fashion, esports and digital assets.

We think you are experienced in the game industry tackling issues from numerous angles in design, art and code and make the best of it. You will work closely with the design and tech teams for building assets and animations to create a useful and eye friendly visual experience.

Focus Areas
You will work with 2D concepts and iterate with the design team from start to finish. There will be extensive work on the menus, in game features such as team tactics and player stats and multiplayer lounge. Further, you will create amazing and helpful in-game graphics, to aid the players, such as crosshairs and screw ball features for set pieces (free kicks, penalties etc).

Required Qualifications

- Adobe Photoshop/ Illustrator, Figma or Sketch fluency
- UI art/design experience
- An eye for layout and typography

- Game UI experience

About the Employment

The position is permanent, starting with 6 months of probationary employment. You can work from our Stockholm office, fully remote or hybrid. It is important that you are able to communicate unhindered in verbal/written English and that you can work in a timezone close to Stockholm (GMT 0-3 hours).

Recognizing there wasn’t a fast paced, competitive, multiplayer focused football game on the market we decided to change that. Let’s bring football into esports for real! Bridging the gap between the real world and the digital, we’re building something that is more than a game.
