Position Description

As manager for the Software Systems department you will lead, develop and coach a team of 10-15 engineers. You will also co-operate with our technology team in India (Bangalore) regarding resources and deliverables. You are responsible for the software life cycle of the Articulated and Autonomous Hauler products and manage deliveries, resources and expenses within budget frames. Your technical area will be the embedded software system development, including both current and future architecture. Together with colleagues and group members, you are working to set up a shared vision regarding the technology mission, meeting the upcoming disruptive challenges within automation, electromobility and connectivity. You will be part of the Engineering Management Team and by that contributing to the local technology strategy. In this team you will also have a great forum to address and discuss questions, we support and challenge each other and are eager to learn.

You also have the following knowledge/experience:

• M.Sc. degree in Electrical/Data Engineering or Information Systems or equivalent.
• Knowledge or experience from some of the following fields:

- Off-road machinery / Heavy trucks / Automotive Industry

- Embedded Software development

- Android and Front-End development

- Model-based development and design

- Agile ways of working (Scrum, SAFe)

- DevOps
