Are you a software test engineer with a couple of years of experience? Or perhaps a developer with knowledge within software testing? Maybe it's time for a new challenge in one of the region's largest Quality Assurance organizations? We're now looking for a new colleague to our New Business Access Control QA team!
Who is your future team?
Your future team consists of dedicated and skilled software test engineers, working with Access control. The team has a very close cooperation with the development team; together making sure that we release solutions with excellent quality. The solutions include embedded products, applications and different accessories. You can read more about our products here and one of our solutions here.
What you'll do here as test engineer?
We're looking for a new member to our Access Control QA team that can work with expanding our automatic test coverage, continuously implementing improvements of our tooling and execute tests. In this role we expect you to have good programming skills.
The responsibilities of the role include:
* Implementation of functional and non-functional automatic test cases
* Test execution (manual, semi-automatic and automatic)
* Tool development
* Analysis of test results
* Develop and improve environments, methods and processes.
Who are you?
We expect that you are passionate about quality and contributing to a great customer experience. You enjoy problem solving and finding new efficient test methods. At the same time, you have a good ability to work incrementally and deliver continuously. You have a good ability to see "the bigger picture" and it's important to you that you contribute all the way to the end customer.
You enjoy working in close collaboration with other skilled engineers and sharing knowledge. Axis really values teamwork and it is important that you contribute with a good team spirit.
We'd love to hear that you have/are:
* A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer science or equivalent
* Experience in software testing
* Knowledge in network communication
* Comfortable working in a Linux environment
* Good programming skills
Bonus:
* Comfortable working in Python
* Familiarity with Docker containers
* Knowledge in data collections and/or log management
