We are looking for a developer who wants to build kick-ass client-facing applications that are used to optimize advertising across the globe. If your friends thought you were overly excited when Facebook released GraphQL, you’re probably the right person for this job. And we’re no fortune tellers, but you probably also prefer Postgres over MySQL (in case you don’t, maybe you can change our minds).

Your work here will define our streaming technology as the new standard for delivering videos and images on the web - faster, using less data, and in higher quality.

SeenThis is a streaming technology company that optimizes the delivery of videos and images to improve speed, quality and conversion for our clients. We were founded 2017 in Stockholm, and we now have local hubs in Oslo, London, New York and Singapore that serve over 1,000 clients, who collectively push petabytes of data through our systems each month. Today, our technology is first and foremost used for digital advertising, but we’ve just launched products for online retailers where load speed and quality of video and images on e-com sites are of equally high importance for great conversion rates.

About the Role
To thrive in the role as Full Stack Developer at SeenThis you need to love creating products that a vast amount of people all over the world are excited to use. Why are they excited you might ask? Well, because you care so much about them that you’ve taken full ownership of the product, seen the world through their eyes and built an absolutely amazing user experience for them.

It goes without saying that you are very curious and eager to test new solutions using new technologies (who isn’t, right?). You are humble, a team-player, and you love challenges - especially if they include learning a completely new programming language. And yes, fun! You like to have fun. Either while creating office memes or laughing at a silly game you built with a colleague for the after-work competition.

To feel comfortable in this role, you have most likely been working with full-stack/backend development for the last three years and feel it’s time to take the next step in your career and join a rocket ship (not SpaceX, but almost).

Since we always end up talking about “the stack”, we might as well cover it. Most often it’s set up in JavaScript, Node.js, Vue.js, Postgres and GraphQL - but it can vary between projects. It’s not required that you know all of them. What’s most important is that you you’re eager to learn and have fun together with your teammates while doing it!

Qualifications
Required

- You have a minimum of 3 years’ experience with JavaScript

Preferred

- Node.js, Vue.js, GraphQL, Docker & Postgres
