UCG/Radio Support is a consulting company based in Kista in northern Stockholm. Regardless placement you will be employed by UCG, with Swedish salary and benifits.

The Consultant role

As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.

Education/training

Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.

Experience

We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.

Required experience for this role:

-You have worked as Test Manager/Test Lead/QA Lead or similar

-Deep understanding of performing REST API tests and tools both for manual testing and automated tests

-Familiar with tools such as Postman and Postman APIs

-Hands on experience of Open API Specification

-Experience from Dynamic Test Generation based on Open API specification, ReadyAPI platform and/or Postman API or other tools

-Good understanding of non-functional aspects of cloud based backend

-Good skills in python and Node.js programming language

-Comfortable working in Linux environment

Working language: English

Wanted competence

- Experience with serverless architecture

-Experience from testing cloud based backends deployed on multiple sites and regions

Responsibilities:

-Lead the analysis and test planning of the sprints of the Core Backend/Cloud team

-Perform functional and non-functional REST API tests

-Have continuous discussions with developers during the sprints to take decisions on what is important to test

-Develop and maintain a light weight REST API test framework for automated test

-Make decisions on what level of automated API tests we need and implement these

-Keep an eye on the cloud native world and what is onoing in the test front
