We are currently looking for a Backend Developer to help Benify improve our product even more and be a part of our journey to grow globally.
Main responsibilities
As a Backend Developer in the Core Platform team, you will be working together with a great group of developers, UX and PO focusing on problem solving relating to the operational performance of our platform. You will come up with new ideas and technical solutions to give the best conditions for a system that is efficient, secure and stable. Input from external systems as well as coming up with new suggestions of tools being used to constant improving the Benify platform, is part of your daily job. We see innovation and long-term sustainability as our foremost guiding principles and we hope you share will that with us. In your role as a developer, you will transform business needs into neat and high-quality code on a daily basis.
As a Backend Developer, you will:
• Work with Agile system development using technologies like Java 16, Spring and MySQL
• Develop and design new frameworks and patterns
• Write well designed, testable and efficient code
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of code quality and deliveries
• Contribute to technical and architectural evolution.
Requirements
You are an analytical and technically focused person who puts time and energy into creating products and solutions with quality. You like collaborating with different competencies and don’t stray away from a challenge. Sharing knowledge is natural to you and you’re not afraid to ask for help when needed – no prestige here! In addition, you’re a flexible person who’s always seeking for improvements by using the best technologies suitable for the current project.
To succeed in this role, we also see that you have:
• Relevant educational background within Computer Science, Software Development or similar
• A few years’ experience from a backend role working with Java
• Experience from a previous big technology/architectural journey is meritorious
• Agile values and hands-on experience in agile software development
