Product Owner
SKF’s strategy is to provide our customers with reliable Rotation as aservice (RaaS). To enable this, we develop the means to monitor, predict and improve the rotating performance of machines. Working with the latest technology in software development, big data and AI we provide our customers with the right information at the right time, so their operational decision making is quick & simple.
You will be part of the global Big Data development center where we focus on providing services that are shared/consumed in multiple SKF solutions around the globe.
As a product owner for the team that develops our subscription, authorization and SSO service you will truly work in a fun international context.
Maybe you are an experienced software engineer / developer / architect that are up for a new opportunity and would like to take on a new role as our new amazing PO.
Your day-to-day work will be to
- Work with product managers to develop and maintain the product vision and strategy contributing to business outcomes with quantifiable business metrics within your area
- Clearly communicate product priorities, benefits and results to the team and stakeholders and motivate the team with a clear and elevating goal
- Get a solid understanding of users, market, environment, and trends for the domain to make good decisions
- Own and coordinate backlog management and refinement, prioritize features, create acceptance criteria that results in SKF’s core business outcomes being met.
- Ensure features meet the user’s needs and comply with the Definition of Done.
- Developing and sustaining solid working relationships with customers both internal and external, other product owners, software engineers, UX/UI designers, and product managers.
- Code/develop and contribute to the team’s code on a voluntary basis.
We expect you to have
- You have several years of experience in software development as a technical PO, engineer or architect.
- You have a proven history of delivering results.
- A university degree, Field of Study: Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or Business Degree
- You are fluent in English.
Meritorious
- Experience in and understanding of development of distributed systems, micro services, and Amazon Web Services.
- Experienced with SAFe development process
- Experience in Industrial applications
- Strong interest in Software development, you are up to date with the latest technology trends.
