For Sandvik Coromant and our Manufacturing Execution System (MES) team we’re looking for a Systems Developer to participate in our journey to rewrite our product labeling system from scratch. Do you want to advance a system used in over 15 countries around the world and build a network throughout our entire organization while at the same time grow – both on a professional and personal level? About the job

In this position, you’re part of a small agile team where you develop solutions according to business demands and ensure that system improvements are successfully implemented. With us, you get the opportunity to work with various technology such as label rendering, web GUI, web service backend, SQL, desktop clients and message queues. You determine software requirements and develop solutions; considering scalability, security, accessibility and extendibility. Together with your team, you’re responsible and provide with maintenance, enhancements, support, releases and upgrades for our product labeling system – helping our global organization towards an even more efficient tomorrow.

The location for this position is preferably in Gimo, however, Sandviken is also an option. We don´t need your presence at the site all the time and offer you the opportunity to work remotely some days.

Your background and personality

To be successful in this role you need experience and knowledge within C#, Azure DevOps, SQL, Angular, Javascript, jQuery and .NET core, and it’s a plus if your knowledge is backed with a relevant university degree. Previous work in Kubernetes, HTML and CSS is also beneficial. Working in a truly global organization calls for fluency in English while knowledge in other languages is a plus.
