To strengthen our position on the market as well as increase the capabilities of our R&D team for several very exciting developments just about to kick-off, we are currently looking for an Andorid App Developer to join our EMEIA Smart Residential organization in Stockholm!

What you would do as our Android App Developer

The R&D team, within Smart Residential, was established in its current form on the 1 Jan 2019. The team is undergoing considerable change and growth, with added scope, skills and responsibilities required to meet market opportunities driven both by the broader EMEA and Global Smart Residential organizations.

The objective of this role is to evolve and maintain the Android App and SDK portions of the Access Services eco-system that has a huge impact on customer experience when using our products.

You would also:

• Implement new features and maintain existing ones in our Android SDK and app in order to enable companies to deliver packages/services inside homes
• Collaborate with an autonomous team of developers (iOS, frontend, backend), UX designers, QA engineers and product owners based in different locations across the worlds to build and maintain our access services eco-system

The skills and experience you need

• A deep understanding of modern Android development (at least three years' experience)
• Experience writing android native code with Kotlin and Java
• Experience with app development using React Native
• Git
• CI/CD for apps with Jenkins
• Basic mobile UX and knowledge of appium or another automation testing tool for testing native mobile applications would be appreciated
