System Administrator - Network

Your future team
You will be part of the team IT Operations & Support and we are the owners of the global operational infrastructure. Together with the team you will be responsible for all operational aspects of the globally installed Network platform both central and local environments. You have a passion for Network technology and like to further develop your technical skills. Together with the team you will deliver a highly available & reliable Network platform where you together with you colleagues will operate our global network.

What will you do here?
In the role as System Administrator - Network you will manage the full life cycle of the Network, managing incidents and problems but also understand and implement changes to within the network. You will also take part in both delivery projects setting up the networks and manage LCM activities within the network. As you will be in contact with many different stakeholders you need to enjoy working together with others but also to understand how business requirements could be translated into technical requirements. As we are growing as a department you need to be open to changes and constantly look for improvements on the platform.

Who are you?
We think you understand the basics around the Network technology and have a deeper knowledge in one of the areas defined below. We believe you will love this position if you enjoy changes, taking responsibility and accepting challenges. You will have great opportunity here at Axis if you like to solve complex problems, have the drive to maintain the Network over time and have the ability of expand and design the network based on operational technologies. We think that you have a couple of years' experiences in an IT Operations role understanding the daily operation, maintenance & development from a Network perspective and maybe you are ready for your next challenge. As a person you need to have a passion for working together with others as we think that working together will give as better solutions.

We Believe You Will Need some of the skills below:

* A couple of years' experience of WAN
* Knowledge in LAN
* Skills in Firewall / Proxy
* Experience of WiFi
* Working skills in DNS / DHCP

Very nice to have:

* Basic understanding of Linux
* Scripting (Python, Perl or similar)
* GIT
* Monitoring such as Zabbix, Prometheus or similar
* RADIUS (Aruba Clearpass, Cisco ISE or FreeRADIUS)
